It was funny - about the kroq dj announcing some indie band and getting booed by the croud!

Anyone know who it was?

Yeah, I missed the actual booing but just heard TK stumbling around afterwards. He said the soundbyte was going to be on the Indie site soon.

I went to a Modest Mouse show at The Avalon last year and Jed the Fish was presenting... he got booed like crazy. Everyone was yelling "shut up!" and "Fuck KROQ"..... he was annoyed and he started insulting back and telling everyone to be quiet and go whine about it to their mom. it was very, very funny.

I love Jed....grew up listening to him and my brother laughs just like the guy...who WOULDN'T love a Dj that has done jail time and is a recovering addict?

He also has gone on the record for how poorly they treat Rodney....

I guess Richard Blade has his 80s show on Star 98.7 also.

Indie is really what Kroq used to be like 10+ years ago, without the heavy punk influence.
