Welcome, Annie. Don't worry about the "guest" posting, I think we've all made that mistake during our first post. Gotta remember to log in each time.
I think my favorite part of Jack's Forum is that there are several different sections - one for What's On Indie, one for Indie DJs, one for Concerts, etc. That way if you are looking for a post on a specific topic, you can just go to that section and not get barraged with all the other topics getting in your way like at Yahoo, where all posts are just lumped together on one board. It makes finding a reply to your questions so much easier.

I had avatar problems when I first started too. Not sure. Jack switched something, then it worked.

Hm, did you upload a pic or are you using a pic from a website? If it's from a website, are you sure you have the right address? If it's from a picture, are you sure it's the right file name/type/size?

Is the picture that you are uploading on a website or webpage? If not, no tickey no laundry....

As far as Jack goes, he's rather, ummm, selective with his appear here...he's kind of like the tooth fairy or Easter Bunny...conditions must be just so for him to deign us with his presence....

Okokokokokokok..I just posted something over at MySpace and damm me all to hell if I didn't get sucked into clicking on all the pictures...I always tell myself...Ok...go look at what you need to look at and popst something if you need to but do NOT click on any pictures....but nooooooooo...can I do that??? Be like asking Roseanne Barr to pass up the Dunkin' Donuts table....

haha. There should be a filter for MySpae to block out all pictures and have a "read/comment only" view.
