Is it me or does he look like gravity is taking its toll on him and he's being smashed towards the floor? Or is it just the medicine residue in me that is causing me to see thing?

Apparently, he's in a hammock and has a low center of gravity so he is scrunched up a bit. That's what happens when your panda has too much in the can-da.
