I went shooting some clay pigeons once. Couldnt shoot a real bird though, Must admit it was fun.

When Cheyney was shooting Quail I though they meant Dan Quail.

I Kiwi with a sheep under his arm, walks into his bed room where his wife is napping. He says "this is the pig I'm fucking when you are not around." His wife says "that is a sheep under your arm, not a pig!" He says "I was talking to the sheep!"

Oh, you mean the Kiwi thing? Yea, I am so tired of all those Kiwi's coming over here from their island paradise, and stealing all of our jobs. And why don't they learn the language? Come on! If you are going come here to the good 'ol U.S. of A, try to assimilate a little better. I can spot a Kiwi from a mile away. There are just way too many of "you people" here now.

Oh yea, do you know what Kiwi's consider the greatest gift to New Zealand from the US?

I hope you know I'm kidding. I just love all you funny talking bastards!

Nope.

Brown Trout. They (Kiwis) first planted them at Lake Taupo in 1886, but failed. In 1903, the US sent a stronger breed to Lakes Rotorua and Taupo ,creating some of the best trout fishing anywhere, thus boosting the local economy. Oh yea, and much like we did to our Native Americans, the government took away the land around the lakes belonging to the Māori, once they found out what a money maker it was.

Just a little useless trivia for ya.

Have you fished those areas? I would love to make it out there to do some fishing some day. That is after I get my 200Lb+ Bluefin Tuna from the surrounding waters.

Lake Taupo - (lies beneat the ski area slopes) when I was a kid our family rented a boat and went trout fishing on Taupo, but it was the off season and we didnt so some well. I am not really a keen fisher. Only other time I went fishing (apert from off the wharf) was in Hawii deep sea fishing.

Rotoroa is a geo-thermal area. Stinks like sulpher. Geysers and famous for hot mud. Went there a ton of times as a kid. Smells like a big fart.

Both areas are great tourist trout fishing areas.

I still say NZ makes more money from stealing Hollywood than fish.
