Many musicians are among the nominees this year, including Andre 3000 of Outkast, Q-Tip, Ziggy Marley, Ted Leo, Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Radiohead's Thom Yorke, and Common, as well as Mos Def, Jeru the Damaja, Ghostface Killah and Masta Killa. Who knew the Wu had vegetarians in their ranks? For the females, members of Le Tigre and the Like, Chrissie Hynde, Shania Twain and Princess Superstar are nominated.

"We're not sure if it's all the antioxidant-filled veggie burgers or the tofu that gives vegetarians that certain glow, but whatever it is, it's workin' in their favor, because there are some mighty tasty meat-free folks out there," Peta declares on their website. Actors, athletes and other celebrities are nominated, but the majority seems to come from the music world. Voting has begun at http://www.peta2.com, so be sure to vote for your favorite veggie-lovin', animal respectin' bombshell or dreamboat. Morrissey is on the list, but since he's sworn off sex, does that still make him sexy? If you ask us... we say, too sexy.
