So I was listening to 91X today, since reception has been clear latley. For those of you who don't know, 91X is the sort of KROQ of San Diego. Apparently now they have separated from their corporate owners are are now independently owned. However, the music is still pretty much the same as it used to be, playing mostly commercial rock/alt. I've always liked it better than KROQ, because even though their playlists end of being pretty identical, they tend to play a lot of local and unsigned artists as well. So if their singal stays strong, looks like the other Indie will be having some competition.
