Yeah, the song fit Elvis perfectly. One of the rare occasions where the cover outshines the original. Nick's voice was too light & poppy for the song in his early days (as in "Cruel To Be Kind") but he does a slower acoustic version of it nowadays that brings out the lyrics & feeling of the song.
