) ....The President(Who is Chief Commanderof the the armed forces) wants to escalate(surge?) our
presents in Iraq while congress(who pays the bills for
such things)wants to limit funding for that presance in
order to bring about a withdrawl from that theatre....
I hope it all works out...cause I think these kinds of things
point out the weakness of having a constitutional republic.
...the pres is gonna push our troops and congress is gonna
take away their means to wage war?...seems like history
would bury a country like that
...but then again one of my favpolitical theorists was plato(cause i am kinda a nutcase
with monarchiacal(Megamoniacal?) thoughts.....Shloemoe should
be king!)
