I was a 14 year old "Ranch hand" relaxing after a hard
day of forced labor when I hear the king had died..one
of those moments fixed in time for me...I think this week-
end I'll work on me Elvis....

Today kinda crystalizes some feelins I had lately bout music.
ya know how cool Elvis was when he was cool...like before he
went in the army?...he was cool!

For most of my life I've felt rock(all dem kinds) was cool.
I always felt Elvis was cool too...C'ept for them Vegas days.
Times like that give me bad feelins bout rock(all dem kinds)

I feel that rock in general is in an Elvis phase(I know I should'da
developed this more better but...)

Do you feel music is in an "Elvis in Vegas" phase?

I should talk about fat Elvis...that fat guy is actually The Shloe
