Who is Money? or do you have mean cash hasent been good for them.

As much as I love Echo the last 2 albums where crap and that's hard for me to admit cause I dont want to.

Thus. I ain't spending another dime of them till ive heard it.

And if they play the HOB again aint going. It always HOB and I'm sick of seeing em play the same venue over & over.

Money was the promoter for KROQ for Echo on their reunion tour at certain venues, I believe. Basically, he said it was tough working with a band who felt they had already achieved, having to basically hustle and promote and take directions from lowly promoters once again on their reunion.

Amen brother Macy, I'm getting tired of the HOB as well. Certain bands love to go there, (cramps, ministry, x, etc.) because they get treated well there..BUT, for some reason I'm tired of that place as well.

Yeah - Evergreen I thought was a good album overall. The first comeback record. I don't know but I suspect that it was recorded or partially recirded back from the original Echo days. Sounds close to their late original stuff. Maybe peicced together. That is a guess, I dont know that but I sispect it..

I bought the following 2 albums revereration & another I forget the name but was very disapointed. Not even 1 good song. It sounded like they didnt care or where defeated or something. Both albums where given the fli8ck through.

My understanding is that altthough they where pretty big/succesfful in the 80's there was a lot of money that was pumped into them but the record companies never recovered that money back. The labels had the beleif in them and pumed the cash thinking they would equl U2 or someting but the record sales didnt match the marketing dollars.

As a teenager I met the Australian/N.Z guy that was promoting them who told me something like that. That was about the time of Ocean Rain.

I only saw them once at a KROQ Flashback to the Future... it was late, I was tired, it was boring.... haven't heard the last stuff from them, but I love the old stuff... Killing Moon, possibly in my top 20 list of favorite songs, although I'm cheating because I love the Pavement cover better...

Well, I can play killing moon better on guitar than pavement so just shows you who's who.
