Why Weller dissed Jonesy

Post by lsinger9404 »

By the way...i've been meaning to write my theory of why Weller wouldn't come up to the Jukebox. It's fairly simple. Paul's got a rockin' new album out with a VERY catchy radio-ready single out ("From The Floorboards Up"), Indie ain't playing it to Teegan & Sara extremes (I can't say i've heard it once or seen it on the playlist). Since he's over here so few times a year, he has to dedicate his time to promo that will serve him.

Just a theory.

Uh huh.

And maybe if he deigned to do the interviews on the only radio that matters, they'd play him more.

Is not going on Jonsey's show a diss thoiugh??? Not neccessarily.

Maybe a cool idea would be to compile a list of "Hall of Fame" for Jonsey guests on the indie web-site so those who have been get the added benefit of exposuree.

Well...Jonesy seemed to feel sleighted. The Thursday before they would have had him Jonesy went on for 10 minutes about how hard he and Shovel tried and how it didn't work out. He's got it good....it seems if Jonesy wants, Jonesy gets. It seems there aren't many of the "big ones" that say "no".

Yeah,

he was moaning about Green Day not coming on too something like that.

Unless I missed it big time is John Lydon ever going on.

I've heard him say that Billy Joe is too scared to come on. Cause Jonesy's like the god of punk and BJ is the watered down version of the watered down version of punk.

Oh..and at the risk of talking out of my a$$, i'd have to say "no" that Lydon has never been on. I don't think the communication is there.

Hey...there's an idea! mabye me being a therapist, I could facilitatte a few sessions to work out their differences. Kinda like "Some Kind Of Monster"! I wouldn't charge!

Well it was cool watching Jonsey at Camp Freddy. He was a bit off to the side and stand offish but he looked like he was having a blast.

Just put Jonsey & Lydon in th same room together and lock the door. They will have settled their differences in a few minuted.

That's how to get cats aquainted,

Then send them each a bill
