DEAN GRAY TUESDAY!!!!!

Okay, I'm so excited about this today!
If anyone really, really dislikes Green Day, it's me. But I love Party Ben and I looove Team 9, so when they teamed up to make a full length mash-up album staring Green Day's American Idiot, I had to listen to it. It's called American Edit and it's absolutely amazing. I love it so much that I don't mind at all that I'm listening to Green Day.
So, today is Dean Gray Tuesday, the only day you'll be able to download the full version of American Edit, to protest against the big record company greed that stopped the record from being released (although profits went to Green Day supported charities).

Visit the official site at: http://www.americanedit.org/home/ae/

You can also visit Party Ben's web-site to read his side of the bootleg story.

*The first track is an amazing 5 part track titled American Jesus, it mixes old Green Day with present Green Day, and a bunch of other good stuff including Johnny Cash. I even spotted a mash-up within a mash-up with one of the most clever tracks of the year; The Legendary K.O.'s "Gearge Bush Doesn't Care About Black People."

*Dr. Who on Holiday is another key track, I never saw any potential in the original version of Holiday, but this track proved me wrong. http://losliriosdelbosque.org/cachos/de ... oliday.mp3

I think the idea behind the album is great. The name "Dean Gray Tuesday" rings a familiar bell in the tune of Danger Mouse's extraordinary Mash-up album, the "Gray Album" (Jay-Z vs. Beatles). I'm sure it's more than a coincidence and I know American Edit will be as much of a landmark bootleg album as the Gray Album was/is. It's so refreshing to see the unlimited creativity of mash-up artists. I can't wait to hear what artist like Party Ben, Team 9, DJ Payroll, Go Home Productions, Osysymo and so many more will come up with next for the sake of good music.

If you can make it sound good, go for it.
