We've been on the same wavelength lately. That's exactly what I thought when I heard Vagrant. I still have a Vagrant Records sampler CD I bought at Hot Topic in high school for $5. Live and unreleased Face to Face, The Hippos, a pre-Travis Blink 182 covering Billy Idol.
Now they have Dashboard Confessional on their label.

Ah yes.... good ol' Vagrant. They also have Eels on the label so it's cool.
