The one you have on this link isn't actually the one they are playing on Indie. It's a different mix.

oh yah baby, smear some blood on me! actually i think the cover is kind of plain, but i like her vocals. she could use a lead guitarist and if i recall they didnt have a bassist either.

I like it but...

I like their original Giant Drag song indie played better - Love (this isnt it)

I agree that the volcals on the cover are good.

I just think that the guitar is too scratchy/distorted bar chorded in my opinion and would sound alot better if they added a softer accounstic/open chords over the top or remixed it with less distorotion.

I do think it is good but the guitat if improved would make a great difference.

Of course it all a matter of taste and opinion

As usual, I'm with you, Glenners. It kind of bores me. I'd much rather hear This Isn't It again.

yeah the album has much better songs.

the chris issak cover is very lethargic, but from what i am beginning to understand is that that is part of their style.

Interesting, I also found it dry... but I didn't consider the idea that it might just be the point... maybe I'll "get it" next time I hear it.

Oh wow. Makes sense. We'll drag your song on a horse.. we'll drag it around town... slowly... until it dies!

well if you log onto the Giant Drag website, there are different areas that they use to try and express themselves personally to the fans. it definitely makes me see them as people rather than music icons.

what i gathered was that they have a very laid back style. although a lot of the songs on the album have a decent amount of energy in my opinion. i dont think they would be able to get away with playing everything laise faire (did i spell that right).
