He just played a song called "Paralyzed" but the name of the band sounded something like "RPG"
Can anyone help?

NPG? New Power Generation?
Dunno. When I did a Google on Paralyzed, it's AMAZING how many people had a song called Paralyzed. No help there.

The band is RPG and the song is Paralyzed. They are on the AUstin label Arclight records. The album is called Full Time
