Podcasting--Pro or Con?

Post by MicheBel »

Anyone podcasting yet? I see that KCRW (again) has some pretty amazing podcasts all set up. And this is a college station? What's up Indie? What's up 94.9? Where is your podcast page? To say nothing of a current playlist page. How hard is that?

If anyone is getting the KCRW podcast (or any other), give us the scoop on what it sounds like, how easy/hard it is, etc.

Michelle-
The podcasts are amazing...radio on your time. And it's perfect sound, not tinny like the Indie feed.

Unfortunately, you can't get Morning Becomes Eclectic due to licensing, but there's satill lots of cool stuff.

Oh...and the licensing reason i gave about MBE...that applies to Indie. It would be difficult for them to say, podcast Jonesy's show..at least the music parts. There would bve no problem podcasting his monologues, howevewr. Podcasting makes it TOO easy to get high quality songs, at least as far as the RIAA is concerned.

Indie vs. 94.9

Post by MicheBel »

Well, at least Indie has a consistent stream going out to Macintoshes, which is more than 94.9 can say. :(
