nterpol Announce North American Tour

Kati Llewellyn reports:
On September 5 in Mexico, Interpol will kick off the first of several performances on their brand-spanking-new North American tour.

These busybodies, still riding high on their sophomore album Antics, will embark on this leg of the neverending tour with barely enough time for a siesta after arriving home from overseas. Throughout September, Interpol will be traveling a whole lot-- from Mexico to the United States to Canada. Yep, that's a North American tour!

Ticket presales and...regular sales will be "announced shortly," says their official site. Good luck scorin' those.

The old and the new:

What's the pre-sale all about? Is it a KROQ thing, and if it is, did someone get the e-mail with the password? I hope it's not from the Interpol "club" or whatever, because i changed my e-mail address and forgot to foward my new address... so now i don't get the newsletters anymore... =(

What's wrong with the Greek Theatre?!?!?!?
That's where my HS graduation was held.

Bleh. The Greek Theater is alright, if you don't mind the horrible parking, or the stadium style seating where you may or may not get an obscured view.

:P

Pre sale starts Thursday, July 28 at 10 a.m. This means TOMORROW!!
If you're interested in the password, pm me before the presale starts and I'll try to help. No guarantees it'll work, though! :P
Yeah, that's exactly how I feel about the greek. ...park in the dirt and then walk all the way down, just to sit behind a tree... it really just depends on the tickets you score.
I'm spoiled by general admission shows.... before a lot of these bands hit the airwaves they only did small shows and then to see them from anything other than 5 feet away is just disapointing.
Hahah, the greek sells wine... all watered down and in some plastic vase thing.

SPY! You never even check your PMs until like 10 days later.... and what do you mean by "No guarantees it'll work, though!"? What will work??? Thanx!

KROQ Spy is a hero.... the sale did start at 10 today and the Spy knew the REAL password and got me in! Thanx spy!!! Sadly, something's wrong with my Ticket Master account so I couldn't get them which is fine because they were on the left terrace and that's a woodsy area.
