Thank you, Dicky

Thank you, Dicky
I just wanna say a big Thank You to Dicky. This morning, I had all this stuff to give to our dear, sweet Chuck P. for his birthday, and the nazi guards outside Indie wouldn't have anything to do with it. But Dicky was really nice, and sent Stacey down.
SO THANK YOU. That was really sweet.
Also, an aside to Indie folk: the guards were bitching that they don't have a phone number that works to call up there. Have you ever wondered if the reason why so many guests keep "not showing up" is that they couldn't get in the front door? It's certainly not user-friendly.
About the time the guard was quoting me all the rules, and telling me they need memos signed in triplicate to go up there, I was about to lose it. Dicky saved my morning.
And I am appreciative.

Yeah, maybe if you had stricter security, Motley Crue wouldn't have snuck on stage after the Foo Fighters and stolen the headlining spot at Weenie Roast. Or perhaps if your guards paid closer attention, CDs like "Pepper - Give It Up" wouldn't make it on to the air. I guess there's things to be said for the Indie Nazi guards after all.

Nice guards
Yeah, problem with that is that no one at KROQ is nice enough to want to give a birthday present to.a KROQ spy! wrote:At KROQ, our guards are nicer.
Just sayin!

birthdays
Oh sure. I can see Kristee now...cake in hand, frosting all over her private parts...
"which way to Dicky's office?" heh
Yeah, I forgot. Jonesy's is right by mine. His is either September 4 or September 6. (Mine is the 5th.)
Guess I gotta ask about TK's too, so he doesn't feel all left out...
