Good news: one of my favorite educational music business conventions
is giving a major discount to CD Baby artists.
It's $90 for everyone else, but CD Baby artists get in for only $10
for the whole weekend full of panels/discussions and workshops.

It's February 10-12 in Los Angeles.
I'll be giving my talk on "Calling Attention to Your Music" at 9am
the first morning.
To get the special $10 price, YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS,
because there is no notice of it anywhere on their site:
#1 - Go to

#2 - Click the red "REGISTER" button, up top
#3 - Do the pull-down menu in "Step 1" on their site, fill out your
info in "Step 2", but for "Step 3" you have to choose Offline (Mail A
Check).
#4 - You'll get an email with a mailing address to mail your
$10-per-person payment. Send a check or money order with a note
saying you're a CD Baby artist. It will say $90 everywhere, but just
send $10-per-person as long as you include a note saying you're a CD
Baby artist.
And here's the most important part : YOUR PAYMENT HAS TO ARRIVE BY
FEBRUARY 3rd, which means you should really send it by this Tuesday,
January 31st.
