I am ashamed that my motivation is waning. The pull of sleep to make up for this weekend (thanks again for the tip jr) and the UCLA game is hard competition. We shall see if i bail as well.

it'd be cool if all the guys on the UCLA basketball team formed a band, like in California Dreams, and after every game they all get together and play some songs.
my question, who plays keyboard? that anchors the whole band

he stresses character development as oppossed to the x and o's of athelitic development. although with good character, the athletes excell at everything, not just athletics.
but when it does come to athletic development, he smakes sure they learn the fundamentals, much like they should learn the fundamentals in life.

I'm not hating on John Wooden but... he had better players than everyone else
Is Phil Jackson a great coach, or does he win because he's always had Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant? I think he's a great coach by the way

there is a reason those players went to play for him... wooden i mean
and he developed those players into great players...
phil jackson is an egotistical prick.. how does he and Kobe fit in staples at the same time?
IMHO
thanks for listening

And beween Kareem and Walton they had a relative nothing squad and still won. You can lose with good players if you arent a good coach as well.

I gotta go with Jilly on this one. I still find it hilarious that Phil wrote a tell-all book calling Kobe an selfish, egostistical ball hog that he never got along with. And then came back to the Lakers to coach for them this season. I wish I could afford tickets behind the Laker bench. I'd just sit there yelling out excerpts from his own book.

I am glad that after being a fan for over 18 years, My Clippers are the best basketball team in LA. Phil is good, a good negotiator otherwise he wouldnt be collecting that check for the crap on teh floor. Please keep them bad sir. I want a Red White and Blue Banner at Staples.

Mhm. And it was Sir Phil's prick-like behavior that chased away Jerry. I always thought Jerry in his current years resembled Pat Boone. Anyone else?

Did somebody say BOO HOO???? Who knew she knew basketball well enough to write a speech for Charles Barkley....but then again...with that HUGE IQ of hers....it's only natural that she would have an understanding of the game as well as intimate knowledge of all things round ball related.......~heavy sarcasm intended~
