My friend just called me, she's just now coming back to life. Her headlines:
Coldplay was amazing and Chris Martin was adorable and goofy, just dancing all around.
Bauhaus was great live and they played 2 songs hanging upside down "like pieces of meat."
Weezer's set was short but sweet.
Everyone was hot, sweaty and disgusting!

Thanks Annie! That was the first report (other than the OC Register) of Coachella. I'm glad your friend was actually sober and enjoyed some great music.

Here's a photo of Peter Murphy during one of those songs:

That picture is awesome!!!!

Yeah, she was sober, but lost and late everyday. She was the only one of my friends to stay sober and enjoy the bands. Everyone else was high and at the DJ stage.

hehe Isn't it? It actually made the front page of the Monday's OC Register, I believe.
And good for her. :) Sounds like the smart one of the group.

Yeah, it's my influence  ... she used to be a DJ junkie too. I love DJ sets, but nothing beats a live band!
