I'm not going, they just sent me one for Blue October also, that would have to be the worst of all time.

On a side I saw White Zombie once (@ a KROQ Wennie Roast), they killed it, were passing an inflatable Spiderman around the place. Then KROQ geniusly followed White Zombie with Soul Asylum. I'm no fan of Soul Asylum, but they got hosed because guess who came on after them...Rage Against the Machine. White Zombie - Soul Asylum - Rage Against the Machine. Not the way I would have set it up

Yeah, they have a new single out that's kind of catchy. I noticed their drummer is now a 500 lb black man. I thought, "I don't remember him from their earlier days."

I to have an album from when I was in High School; I thought they were cool because the singer was dating Wynonna Ryder

I've always liked Soul Asylum's music - Grave Dancer's Union was a great album. I saw them in concert with Spin Doctors & Screaming Trees in the early 90's. They were the best of the 3. After about 4 songs, Spin Doctors got real boring.

Aw...that's sad. I never heard about that. Yeah, Soul Asylum's actually a pretty talented little pop/rock group. I think the mainstream audience sort of views them as a "One-Hit" wonder only knowing Runaway Train. But as Robert pointed out, they had a bunch of great songs off Grave Dancer's. I'm hoping they headlined the Spin Doctors/Screaming Trees show. Please tell me, the "Little Miss Can't Be Wrong"s actually headlined ahead of Soul Asylum.

Sad to say but yes, Spin doctors were top-billed. They got more radio play so I guess they were better known. Worked out for me because I left early & beat the traffic out of the Greek. (I know, everyone hates the Greek but at the time, it was closer to me than Irvine.) At some of the dates, Gin Blossoms opened but I enjoyed Screaming Trees well enough. I had already seen Gin Blossoms at a club anyway.
