Ms. Stacey sings

Post by MicheBel »

KROQ doesn't do radiothons for hurricane relief...

and the hot item to bid on is that CD of Stacey doing karaoke to the White Stripes "Doorbell". Please tell me that one of you Street Team members is gonna get that! Copies all around!!! :wink:

think before you speak babe
Um, are they doing 48 HOURS of radiothon? Like Indie is? Getting people to donate guitars and cars and skateboards and whatnot? I think not.

Besides, how can I "think" when I didn't know about that thing?

Congrats to Indie!

Raised $61,000 for the victims of Hurricane Katrina! Way to go, Los Angeles!

What a beautiful world, indeed!

Hrm. I wonder if I got that recorded. I tried recording the radiothon for the 3 days it was on, but it kind of clipped here and there and missed a few hours in between.

I got the last 4 hours of Joe Sib over the air.....a large mp3 file.
Some of the other stuff , but i know i missed a lot. Lemmy etc. etc.

as an example of online here is the number of times i found the stream cut off and i had to restart the capture;

Yea, it takes a dump in the middle of the night as well. Usually after midnight, the stream starts getting all chopped up. I have a major chunk, do you want it? I can put it up on my webserver. Could you send over the 4 hour joe sib and lemmy part. I might have that recorded, but just in case. I am about to tape transfer my 3 huge chunks of radiothon and listen to them on my tape player.

I record all the complete control and element radio shows :) Except element radio always dies after about an hour of recording... I think I'm going to kill that recording anyways, its starting to suck...

new streams

Post by Stuartmm »

The new streams of mp3s ;
http://sc1.liquidviewer.com:9010/ best quality
http://sc1.liquidviewer.com:9000/ lower quality

seem to be better than the asf. I have changed my scripts to get both just in case. :-)

Indie the open source indie station;
Brand new Wordpress website ( although they need to add the "powered by wordpress" text )

Wow. Joe Sib at the end was the best part, well the second best part. But he was so jazzed about hitting such a high total. It was cool.
