ons & Daughters Join Bright Eyes
Sep 28, 2005
The much talked-about Scottish foursome, Sons And Daughters, will bring their celebratory doom-and-gloom to the stage along with Bright Eyes and Franz Ferdinand for a series of dates on the heels of their summer full-length The Repulsion Box. Falling somewhere in between Nick Cave and the Pogues, the group's exuberantly dark sound, making for equal parts foreboding and upbeat, has been garnering a healthy following since last year's re-release of the Love The Cup EP on Domino. The quartet attained previous notoriety for their acclaimed performances while touring with the Decemberists. In addition to some solo gigs, the band will also share the stage with Broadcast, the New Year and Willy Mason for a few dates.
