El Rey, Bouncing Souls, Street Dogs, 7 Seconds, Loved Ones

Post by jack »

Hey, went to a punk rockin concert last night at the El Rey, Sunday Oct 2nd. Was pretty amazing, however I am so tired from the long weekend and can barely chug along at school! Weee!!! But I'll recover, just add sleep and food and itll be all good hehe. The Street Dogs were amazing and I got a shot with Mike McColgan from the Street Dogs while standing in line and The Loved Ones sounds like another great band about to get up there :) 7 Seconds was pretty cool too, but a little old for me heh... And THe Bouncing Souls were amazing as well. Except, I kinda think they sounded better in the studio rather than live ;/ Greg's voice was hard to hear over the music. But great concert, thanks Joe Sib and Indie for the tickets!!!

I dunno, I only recognized the covers of If The Kids Are United and 99 Red Ballons, and also a non-cover, Young Till I Die. Other than those, I don't know what they sang :)
