All American Weekend

They just played "Punk Rock Girl" by the Dead Milkmen followed by "Ain't Talking 'Bout Love" by Van Halen. First time I've heard those 2 back-to-back on Indie or any other station. While it's a bit weird not hearing any Cure, Smiths, Pistols or Buzzcocks, Indie is playing a lot of songs by american artists that they don't usually play. I heard "Pretend We're Dead" by L7 last night. Nearly head-bobbed myself to death. I'll have to write Indie & asked them to add that one to the rotation.

Hear, hear to all of those, my friend. I have an inkling to go fire up Punk Rock Girl myself now. And I just downloaded Pretend We're Dead the other night. Rock on.

Oh boy, punk paper dolls! Too funny. I'm waiting for punk colorforms. Anybody else old enough to remember colorforms? I used to send off my boxtops to get those. Probably collector items now. Too bad I don't have them anymore.
