I lover Mars Volta, I'm not crazy about their last album... but they're great.

Yeah, I like Mars Volta, but they may be a bit too ahead of their time or something. They're definitely talented, just a bit obscure. I heard the new single last night and I thought, oh thank God they're playing something else besides The Widow...that was, until I actually listened to the new one.

Besides, Televators still rocks!

Yeah, I think they're a little too different for some people. Man, their drummer is amazing... you're right Kev, they're all very talented.

Yeah, I'd rather recognize their talent and that they're a bit too obscure for most people's tastes than to write them off as some no talent hacks altogether. You know what was great, though? At the Drive In. It's like Sparta is way too superficial and mainstream, Mars Volta is a bit too out there...but when they were ATDI they made some very cool music. Me thinks I'm going to go download and listen to some right now.
