Don't you think that this is part of evolution? There is something bigger out there and something bigger will emerge in this time of chaos. I'm a firm believer that all things are part of a greater and more balanced thing that they may or may not be completely aware of. The human race will eventually evolve through destruction. What I mean by this is that this race, as we know it, must come to an end in order for it to evolve and begin again. You can not have a birth or re-birth without a death. Politically, have we really changed that much in the last 100 years?? We were in a World War a hundred years ago and we may be heading towards another, all with the same basic cause, religion. Socially, I think that corruption has become more of a standard than an exception and that is a huge part of what we, as the human race, have allowed to happen. What happened to positive values? What happened to helping one another instead of trying to out-do or best everyone else? Environmentally, we have got to get a handle on our use of our natural resources. For example, hemp can be used for many good things, but, because it has a byproduct that is illegal, the governements don't even want to consider its good uses at all. Oil, this is the least of our worries folks! There is a bigger picture than just the cost of a gallon of fuel. Don't you ever wonder why a good portion of us are still using coal as our main source of energy? Especially with the nuclear, wind, and solar alternatives! In case you haven't considered this, the new economy and clean cars are not as clean as you think! If you have to plug it in, what are you plugging it in to?? Electricity yes! And most of the electricity is made by what?? For the most part, it requires fossile fuels!!!! So does it really solve anything plugging in to a socket and raising your electric bill instead of raising your price of gas or gas consumption? Does it not still create pollution? I don't think the question of sustainment of 100 years is the real question. I think it's more a matter of how long can we sustain. I think we can sustain longer than 100 years if we just start paying attention to the price of money! Yes, the price of money. Money costs money and that is the root of the problem. Personal opinion of course!

It wasn't intended to comfort. It was intended to state my thoughts and beliefs and answer the question from my point of how I feel we will. If evolution repeated itself, then we would not be! I do not believe that once gone forever gone. I answered the question from my perspective. The human race, as in homosapiens don't have anything to worry about, i think, for 100 years. I think that it is beyond that timeframe that is to worry about. A millenium maybe, but 100 years, we will be fine.
