Don't know enough about Yosef Islam to comment but Cat Stevens was great! Awesome albums like Tea for the Tillerman, Teaser & the Firecat, Buddha & the Chocolate Box. Some people don't know that he also wrote "the First Cut Is The Deepest" because he didn't release his version of it until his box set came out. I remember him singing it back in the 70's on some tv concert. I think it was the In Concert special in 1973 but I'm not sure.
