A few moons ago, late at night, they played the Jonesy's Jukebox minute-long clip of Jonesy farting into the microphone. Oh man, I dunno what gets me laughing more: Shovel's timid "no" or Jonesy giggling like a school girl for the next 30 seconds straight.

And have you noticed how a lot of the good stuff is edited out in the rebroadcast? It's pretty much stopped me from listening to it, unless I miss part of it during the day. (Damn those people who actually make me work at work!)

They edit the show? Geeez. I guess I should start paying closer attention the first time around. I don't take lunches, so I am at my desk usually when Jonsie is on and I catch the show that night going home and the next morning. I stream the station at my desk but there are times that I am so buried in what I am doing that they could be playing, oh I dunno, Led Zepplin, and I wouldn't notice.

They do that because the FCC says you have to be cleaner on a repeat. Here's the non-logical logic of the FCC:

When its live, stuff tends to be extemperanous (spontanious if you will), but since you are rebroadcasting you have the ability to "clean it up," before the replay, which you will do, for the children and the public good and whatnot.

sucks, but thems the breaks, as they say.

The only things that get edited are curses, they get bleeped. We do not edit sexual content. We sometimes have to edit for length, to fit into an hour rebroadcast, and that usually only means cutting out a song.
